Having only just returned home from carrying out COVID decontamination following Callout 30, the team received a call from Greater Manchester Police asking for assistance in searching for a missing person in the Bramhall area of Stockport. Whilst the Police were carrying out their enquiries, we were asked to search some woodlands in the area. 27 team members turned out to assist with the search including the team member who had only just returned from the helicopter transfer of our previous casualty to Sheffield hospital. We were also assisted in the search by search dog Abbie and handler Mark from Oldham team. Unfortunately Abbie received an injury to her eye while searching through undergrowth (https://www.facebook.com/OldhamMRT/posts/10157610823317742). The team completed the search area at 3:45AM without finding anything.
The missing person was later found outside our search area.
