A man and his family were walking their dog along the river at Mousley Bottom in New Mills. Whist attempting to get down a steep bank to get down to the river he slipped and injured his leg. He was unable to walk and stuck below a short steep river bank. As his family were unable to move him, so they requested our help. We provided pain relief and carried him on our stretcher back to the car park, where his wife was able to drive him to a hospital near their home to have it checked over.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
