A young adult man sustained an ankle injury whilst walking along the western edge path of Kinder Scout with his friend and dog.
We were able to locate him using What3Words and Sarcall PhoneFind. We treated him for his ankle injury. Both casualties were suffering from the cold. We evacuated the injured casualty on a stretcher to our vehicles at Edale Cross. We then drove him, along with his friend and dog to the safety of our base in Hayfield.
Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers who give their time free of charge and is funded entirely by public donations.
