The team was called to a pair of walkers lost in the Kinder Low area.  They had been following the Edge path, but in fading light had taken a wrong turn and were now lost.  Initially we were unable to get through on their phone, so we started a general search of the area.  Not long after deploying we managed to get through to them and establish an exact location.  We diverted our search teams to the new site and found them cold and wet.  They were warmed up and walked back to our vehicles at Edale Cross before being driven back to our base for hot drinks and onward transport.

Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers who give their time free of charge and is funded entirely by public donations.
