The team were deployed this afternoon to assist North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) at an incident in Romiley with a young Mountain Biker, an Ambulance crew were on scene however due to casualty status, the ground condition and location we were asked to attend in support. NWAS also dispatched Helimed in support.
We had numerous team members completing Cas care exam preparations at base and we soon on route to the casualty location, however were stood down on route. We wish the mountain biker a speedy recovery.
Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers who give their time free of charge and is funded entirely by public donations.
