The team were tasked to assist a walker with a lower leg injury on the slopes by Speedwell Cavern, a location we don’t normally attend. However due to another ongoing callout to which Buxton and Edale MRT had responded we were were asked to provide some support to additional members of Buxton MRT.

The casualty was located and assessed, before being packaged onto a stretcher before being transported back down the slope to the waiting EMAS ambulance crew at Speedwell Cavern car park. Our thanks to all those involved.
