A father and daughter were reported lost. Initial information was that they were near to the B29 aircraft wreck on Bleaklow so the initial call went to the Glossop Mountain Rescue Team. Their investigations suggested that the couple were now making their way down William Clough on Kinder Scout. The Duty Controller asked Kinder MRT to locate the casualty party and bring them to safety. Before we deployed, we received a message that the casualty party had made it safely off the hill.

Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers who give their time free of charge and is funded entirely by public donations.
