The team were asked to assist a gentlemen who had unfortunately had a fall whilst out for a walk on Eccles Pike, he sustained a couple of injuries which meant he was unable to continue. After an initial assessment casualty care was handed over to the EMAS crew tasked to the callout, whilst we prepared our mountain rescue stretcher for the short carry down to the ambulance. Our thanks to Derbyshire police for the traffic control during the callout.
Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers who give their time free of charge and is funded entirely by public donations.
