After a busy weekend, Tuesday evening saw our forth all out in four days, 2 walkers had set of from Edale in the late afternoon planning on spending the night wild camped on the Kinder Plateau. As the evening progressed one of the walkers started to fell unwell, they made the sensible decision to turn around and head back to Edale, unfortunately with darkness approaching and the walker still unwell they required assistance to make their way of the hill.
Two hill parties were dispatch to locate and assess the casualties, once warmed up they were walked back to Edale Cross and our awaiting Landovers for a journey back to KMRT base.
Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers who give their time free of charge and is funded entirely by public donations.
