In an interesting start to the New Year, we were called by East Midlands Ambulance Service to assist a casualty injured by an Alpaca in a field in Whaley Bridge. Helimed and Land Crew were already on scene but needed some help to evacuate the casualty. In the event, they were able to do this themselves and the team were stood down before arriving on scene.
