Along with Buxton MRT, Edale MRT, Glossop MRT and SARDA we were called to search the Kinder Plateau for a mountain biker who reported himself lost. Unfortunately his phone did not respond to our attempts to locate him so we implemented our Kinder Plan – the four mountain rescue teams and search dogs searching pre-defined areas of the plateau. Fortunately, the biker moved location and got a phone signal, allowing our Sarloc system to pinpoint his location at the top of Sandy Heys. Glossop MRT were able to get to his location and guide him off the hill.
