We were called by North West Ambulance Service to assist with a lady who had fallen whilst cycling and suffered injuries. Due to her location and the nearest access for an ambulance we were asked to assist. Our team doctor lives close by and was able to reach her quickly, followed by other team members. She was treated and then carried on our mountain rescue stretcher to the road ambulance.
