The team were called to assist Glossop MRT (GMRT) with logistical support for the firefighters at the on-going Tintwistle moorland fire.

We provided a 4×4 vehicle and two team members in shifts between 05:00 and 22:00 to help with access and transport requests in the area.

Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers, who give their time free of charge, and it is funded entirely by public donations.
