At 03:20 this morning we were contacted by the regional duty controller asking us to assist with an ongoing callout involving Glossop MRT and Buxton MRT, a walker had not returned home from a walk around the Northern Edges of Kinder Scout and we were being tasked with additional search areas.

Just before the entire team was called out we received an update advising the walker had been located and our assistance was no longer required.

Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers, who give their time free of charge, and it is funded entirely by public donations.
