The Team received a call from the duty controller to ask for our assistance with a stuck motor biker near the Roych. He had taken a wrong turn and ended up on a track and due to the terrain was unable to continue making progress.
Several team members had been at base and hill parties were quickly deployed via Rushup Edge and soon made contact with the casualty who was tried form pushing his bike along, after being brought back to Kinder base he made his own way home.
Kinder Mountain Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers who give their time free of charge and is funded entirely by public donations.
